“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2” is the movie our inner book worm has been dying for. This film gave Suzanne Collins’ insanely popular book series one final, perfect ending. After three great years, we can finally say goodbye to this riveting story of rebellion and discovering how much of a difference just one person can make. Well, with a whole army behind her.

The movie opens right where the “Mockingjay, Part 1” left off. We begin with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) trying to speak again after a tracker-jacked Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) attempted to kill her. Katniss does not allow this to phase her. She wants revenge, and is more determined to kill President Snow (Donald Sutherland) than ever before.

When Katniss finally reached Snow’s mansion, the Rebels attack and Katniss uses the chaos to get into the mansion undetected. In front of the mansion, Peacekeepers are using Capitol children as shields. Silver parachutes are dropped from the sky that are actually bombs. Rebel medics, including Katniss’ sister Prim (Willow Shields), tend to the wounded. A second wave of bombs drops, killing Prim and knocking out Katniss. When she wakes up, Snow has been captured and the Capitol has been conquered. Katniss soon discovers that the bombing, which appeared to be Snow’s doing, was actually President Coin’s plan, in order to sway those still loyal to Snow to her side.

As for Katniss’ reaction, that's for you to watch and see. All I will reveal about the final end to this thrilling saga is that those of you who have read the books, my fellow Tributes, will be very pleased with it. It very nearly moved me to tears, and I am not one that cries easily. Mockingjay, Part 2 gives its fans the closure we’ve all waited three years to experience. And with that, we can finally give our favorite Victors one, final, Three Finger Salute.
