As a high school student who only has a few years left until graduation, college is one of the biggest things on my mind. We all have our worries about where we want to go, if we are going to get accepted, how we can get into the school we want, or what we want to major in. Most students ask themselves these questions many times in their high school career.
Many students at iPrep, including myself, have an immense interest in studying Business.

It is important to know that for each of these programs, an undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree is a minimum requirement to apply. The schools also look for your grade point average (GPA), Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT), Graduate Record Examination (GRE), as well as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)/International English Language Testing System (IELTS)/Pearson Test of English (PTE).
When applying to business school there are many options for students, and that can get very confusing as well as intimidating for a great deal of students. However, even with all the colleges available world wide there are only a handful of superior schools, and these are the best of the best for the study of business: University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Harvard Business School. |
Number 1:
Starting off at number one on the list is University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Booth has an acceptance rate of 23.5%. This school has many programs for business, all highly ranked, but the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program stands out the most. Booth is a private institution with a full time tuition of $74,919 per year, a part time tuition of $7,492 per credit, and executive price of $194,000. Booth offers a wide range of scholarships and financial aid. What makes Booth such a special school is that not only do they have a location in Chicago, but they also have locations in London and Hong Kong! Booth is best known for their “quantitatively rigorous orientation and for its unmatched influence within the field of economics,” discloses investopedia.com. UC Booth is THE best school for economics and business and has been praised for that fact.
Number 2:
Right below Booth comes Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania which is another top notch school– not to mention its Ivy league status. Wharton has an acceptance rate of 14%. Overall the school has a variety of programs, but Wharton outshines other schools with their executive MBA program. Just like Booth, Wharton is a private institution meaning that the tuition will be the same no matter where a student lives. For this school the full time tuition will be $76,000 per year, and the executive tuition is $210,900. This school does not offer scholarships, but it does offer financial aid to all students. Other than the fact that Wharton is an Ivy league school, it is unmatched for its finance program. One other unique trait is that Wharton has one of the world's largest and most prestigious alumni networks (according to their website). The campus is quite vast and diverse with over 24,000 students living on campus.
